ALSA iNternational

Asian Law Students’ Association or known as ALSA is a non-political and non-profit association that welcomes cultural diversity and advances the professionalism and hard-working ethic. ALSA has become and is continually improving as an association that provides the venue for law students to develop as future leaders and major players of Asia. Currently, ALSA has around 12,000 law students and alumni from 16 national chapters all across Asia, which are Brunei Darussalam, China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Japan, Laos, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, South Korea, Sri Lanka, Taiwan, Thailand, Vietnam, Macau, and Myanmar.

  • 2. To promote an awareness of justice;
  • 3. To facilitate the recognition of the social responsibilities of law students.

Objectives

  • 1. To understand and appreciate the diversity and share the ideals of law in society through exchange and communication among Asian law students;
  • 2. To motivate law students to develop a creative spirit through a network of joint activities among Asian law students;
  • 3. To encourage the enhancement of the capabilities of Asian law students so as to become internationally minded, socially responsible, academically committed, and legally skilled.
